Our Programs

Gemm Learning provides a comprehensive, computer-based ACT and SAT test prep service to students working at home anywhere in the U.S.  It is a two-pronged program:

• Skills Program.   We use powerful, cognitive software to help students improve reading -- speed, accuracy and comprehension -- and test taking skills.

• Daily Test Lessons.   We send daily practice questions via email or online.  ACT and SAT test content and strategy in small daily doses -- easier to retain, easier to fit into a busy schedule.

For local; students, we also run regular strategy sessions of ACT and SAT test prep at our Westchester, NY and Fairfield County, CT centers.

Teenagers know how to read -- for many though it is not automatic.  Our program is able to achieve automaticity in just a few weeks.   It is not too late to expect a major boost in ACT or SAT scores from faster, more accurate reading, with stronger reading comprehension.

We develop a program to strengthen the critical skills your child needs.    And for students the slow and steady approach of the daily questions is preferable to pressure cooker, test prep cramming.

While our Skills Program is working on the underlying skills, your child is also getting steady daily test practice with our daily questions service.  

Easy to use, with a personal coach
Only 30 minutes a day, at home, on your own schedule. We keep you informed with weekly progress updates.   Gemm coach monitors progress daily, and will be in regular contact to answer your questions.

Getting Started

Step 1. Call Gemm to find out how we can boost test scores in your case.  Make an appointment to come into a center if you live in Westchester, NY or Fairfield County, CT.

Step 2.  Gemm develops an individualized program.

Step 3.  Students work 30-35 minutes a day at home, guided by a Gemm program manager who tracks student activity via Internet uploads and sends weekly progress reports.
