Consultant Role: Earn a living while making a difference

We are currently looking for sales professionals to respond to incoming phone calls and web inquiries, determining if our program can help the candidates, and if so, helping them become Gemm clients.

Our Sales Consultants
The sales consultant will increase sales and:
• Meet/exceed goals by selling our program to inquiring parents and adults
• Drive the entire sales process by identifying client needs and making the right service recommendation
• Initiate and follow up on all sales leads within a defined territory
• Be available to clients for follow up conferences as needed. We are a service firm, first and foremost
• Assist marketing with planning and be part of the innovation process of a small firm
Skills and Requirements include:
• Minimum of 2 years sales experience. This includes a proven aptitude and track record of consultative selling and closing
• Empathy for our clients, especially our parents who have the onerous task of bringing up a child with learning issues or adults dealing with their own frustration. This empathy may come from an education background, from having a child with learning difficulties, or from some other interaction in the learning fields
• Results-oriented professional with self confidence and perseverance
• Exceptional oral communication skills, especially on the phone
• Must be a strong closer. This most often entails follow up phone calls
• Technology proficient; must be comfortable with enterprise software. We use salesforce.com.
• Must be able to work well in an independent environment and be comfortable with the evolving nature of a small business

Wanted: Program Manager
Help Change Lives, One Child At At Time
Title: Program Manager
Location: 1380 East Putnam Avenue, Greenwich, CT
Term: Available in summers
Rate: $15-20/hour, minimum 20 hours /week
Position Requirements
The Program Manager position is available immediately on a part-time basis (minimum 20 hours per week) and may evolve into a full time position in the fall. Responsibilities include the following:
--- Remote management of students working on learning software at home
--- Protocol planning
--- Administrative duties
--- Support and contact with parents to apprise them of progress and changes to protocol
--- In center student supervision
Skills and Requirements
--- B.A degree, preferably in Education and relating to learning disabilities/speech therapy
--- Technical expertise a MUST. Comfortable with computers, software applications, operating systems
--- Good writing; excellent interpersonal and communication and skills, especially on the phone
--- Able to work independently, but also accept direction and ask for help when needed
--- Excellent phone and communication skills
--- Results-oriented professional with empathy for child and adult related learning issues.
--- Must be able to work well in an independent environment and be comfortable with the evolving nature of a small business.
