Reading, Math and Learning Programs

Gemm Learning provides computer-based programs for K-12 students at a learning center in Greenwich, CT that treat the cause of reading and learning difficulties, rather than the symptoms. Gemm also provides home based services for students nationwide in the US and Canada. We also provide adult reading programs.
Home based services

Gemm provides CT dyslexia help by changing the way a child learns. We treat causes, not symptoms. We complement the local CT reading programs in schools by identifying and treating cognitive skills not addressed during the school day.

Our in center students benefit from a broader range of program options, including a powerful math fluency program not suitable for home use, and a reading fluency program. Our alternative to NY and CT tutoring in center is a comprehensive approach, that works on the underlying cognitive difficulties as well as training in math and reading mechanics.

Our CT learning center is staffed with experienced and nurturing staff who know how to get the most of our every student, every time.

Our in-center programs include:

• Fast ForWord, a series of reading and learning programs that are part of almost every Gemm student's protocol.

• BrainWare Safari, a cognitive program for focus and organization.

• FASTT Math, an adaptive, math fact fluency program for elementary age students.

• Reading Assistant, a reading fluency program that uses speech recognition technology.

Our Programs
We provide reading programs for children and adults at all academic levels. We also provide programs for autism and Asperger's.

Because our learning software works at a fundamental level it is able to improve a number of learning skills that help homework efficiency, improve grades and overall confidence.

While IQ does not change, most students will score higher on IQ tests after Gemm Learning due to their improved processing and test taking skills. Trial results confirm this gain is not a one-time boost, but rather a new learning trajectory that will endure.
