Fast ForWord For Elementary Age Children

Kindergarten and 1st Grade

Students in the first two years of elementary school -- grades K-1 -- complete Fast ForWord Language and Fast ForWord Reading Prep. Fast ForWord Language Basics may also be used if a student’s language and cognitive development indicates a need to develop processing, computer mouse and shape recognition skills.

Elementary Grades 1-4

Most students will complete the two cognitive programs, Fast ForWord Language v2 and Fast ForWord Language to Reading v2, and then follow up with the appropriate reading programs, namely Fast ForWord Reading 1, Fast ForWord Reading 2 and/or Fast ForWord Reading 3. Reading 1 and 2 approximately correlate to 1st and 2nd grade reading level, while Reading 3 ends at a late 4th grade level.
