How Our Software Based At Home Service Works

Gemm Learning is the leading North American at home provider of Fast ForWord, a cognitive learning software used to help a range of learning disabilities. Your child works online, with a Gemm professional monitoring, mentoring and providing protocol management oversight.

The exercise intensity required to make these kinds of deep-seated changes is rigorous, requiring an organized and informed parent and a motivated student. Our service is a "personal trainer" model designed to support parents and students to achieve the very best outcomes possible.

Important Note
Gemm Learning does not provide diagnostic services. We are an educational service that provides cognitive software, Fast ForWord and BrainWare Safari, at home. These programs have records of success in helping a range of learning disablities and/or symptoms of learning diffiulty. Gemm's role is not to diagnoze, but rather to provide the software where the symptoms and/or diagnosis are consistent with the software's guidelines, and then to produce the best outcome possible in each and every case. Gemm Learning enjoys a leadership position in this regard, based on the sophistication of our service and the depth of our resources for families.

Full Service Support From Day One
We start with a welcome call from a Gemm professional who will be your go to partner in the process. We send you log in details or a download link if you have sporadic Internet access.

Assessment To Start
Our learning disabilty programs take many protocol paths depending on your child's unique needs and goals. Therefore we ask you to complete an online behavioral survey where you outline your goals and give us as much background information as possible. In addition, your child's first session will almost always be an assessment where we learn more about your child's learning and reading strengths and weaknesses.

Customized Protocol
Next, we develop and individulaized plan and work starts. Our programs are adaptive. They quickly isolate and exercise the learning skills requiring help in a fun and interactive way to keep your child engaged.

Measurable Progress
We'll keep you up to date on your child's progress every step of the way with weekly progress reports. Each week you'll be able to see what skills your child has mastered, what's difficult and what's a work in progress.

Virtual Center Support Network
You will have a dedicated professional monitoring progress, making suggestions and available to answer your questions. We also have Gemm City -- an online rewards website where our students hard work is converted into hundreds of real and virtual prizes -- and a sophisticated online support website for parents called My Gemm.
