Our Programs
Gemm Learning provides research based learning software at home with remote coaching by certified educators. Currently it provides two programs:
- Fast ForWord. Our service is currently centered on Fast ForWord software, a series of cognitive and reading programs that helps a number of language based learning issues.
Learn about Fast ForWord - BrainWare Safari. While Fast ForWord is always our first protocol choice, we also provide BrainWare Safari, a cognitive software program that uses a very different approach. We use BrainWare Safari as a supplemental intervention in selected cases.

Middle & High School Reading
Our middle and high school programs are designed to help your child better process, analyze and retain written information. We build reading fluency and vocabulary, and then develop higher level reading comprehension and thinking skills.

Adult Reading
This is a three-month program, in center or at home, to address dyslexia in adults. The program can increase reading speed and comprehension for struggling adult readers and help attention stamina.
Auditory Processing and Language Skills
Gemm's programs build fundamental language processing skills that impact every aspect of your child's life. By improving auditory processing we improve spoken and receptive language, vocabulary, working memory and attention stamina. These are essential skills also for reading fluency and comprehension. Learn how Gemm's programs will help improve your child's language and auditory processing skills.

Improving Grades and Homework Skills
Our programs develop the study skills needed for learning independence. We build processing skills that make engaging at school easier and we build the reading and learning skills needed to be able to approach homework and study time with less stress and more confidence. These same skills make test taking more comfortable.

Attention Deficits
Many children with attention deficits actually have a processing difficulty. Listening and comprehending at natural language speed is exhausting and/or not engaging. By making processing more efficient, Fast ForWord can dramatically improve focus.

Autism Spectrum Disorders
Gemm uses Fast ForWord software to improve the language and reading skills of children with ASD. While it is by no means a silver bullet, it is able to change how your autistic child hears language and reads. Learn more about how Gemm and the Fast ForWord program are making an impact on autism.

ACT and SAT Test Prep At Home
Because Gemm works directly on the cognitive, language and reading skills being tested in the SAT, Gemm's SAT preparation course has been able to significantly increase test scores to help students get into the colleges and universities of their choice. We also provide interactive daily ACT or SAT lessons, delivered daily by email or by logging on, in a question format.
Pricing
Our Fast ForWord service cost varies because we develop customized protocols to meet the specific academic needs of each child. The components that make up the total Fast ForWord cost include: program length, program choices, remote support options and the payment schedule that best fits your family's needs. While our program is not typically covered by private medical insurance, in many cases it is tax deductible.
