Blaise's Story
Blaise worked on Fast ForWord at home over one summer and then into the school year. Our program changed his ability to follow directions within a month or two, then his reading, then his life.
Gemm uses an auditory processing treatment based mainly on Fast ForWord software. It has cognitive programs that work on the main auditory processing difficulties -- accurate listening, working memory, attention stamina, processing speed and sequencing -- and then moves to a series of reading programs that convert these improved cognitive abilities into sound reading comprehension skills.
