Fast ForWord founders, Dr. Michael Merzenich and Dr. Paula Tallal, feature as the first two in a series of full length interviews posted on the Children of the Code website.  These two have fascinating insights on learning software and  how the brain reads and what changes are possible.

Full Length Interviews:  We’ve enjoyed a great response to the release of our ‘in-depth’ series of clips (<http://www.childrenofthecode.org/Tour/index.htm#indepth>). As intended, they are being used by college of education professors to provide their classes with stimulating starting points for deeper dialogue. Based on the success of these sequences, we are now beginning the process of providing full length videos of our interviews. First up, two leading neuroscientists whose work on auditory processing are critical contributions to understanding the challenges involved in learning to read:

Dr. Paula Tallal:  is Board of Governor’s Chair of Neuroscience and Co-Director of the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University.
