Many parents receive 100% funding from their state for their Gemm Learning program
Many states offer full funding of after-school tutoring and learning interventions, including Gemm Learning. Applications for that funding for the 2026/27 school year are opening now.
States do not require you to select specific services; you can decide which ones to use during the next school year. The application process is to secure a cash grant based on your child’s needs and, in some cases, on your income.
The current list of states that offer financial support for families at home to support struggling readers and learners, which includes Florida, Arizona, North Carolina, Tennessee, and Indiana, is about to add Texas.
Gemm Learning is a qualified vendor for most state scholarships. Check out our state funding page for descriptions of each state’s programs, including eligibility requirements and links to the application pages.

West Virginia Hope ScholarshipOpens March 2, 2206.The deadline is June 15, 2026, to be eligible for the maximum funding awarded.
New Hampshire Education Freedom Accounts Specific dates are not posted. Best I can find states “around March 1st”.Applications are accepted year-round, but the ESA lists July 15, 2026 as the date to target to receive 100% of available funds.

Texas Freedom Accounts – Coming Soon2026-27 will be the first year for the TEXAS Education Freedom Accounts program. Gemm Learning has a pending vendor application. Parent applications open on February 4, 2026, and are estimated to close on March 17, 2026.
