Full Length Interviews: We’ve enjoyed a great response to the release of our ‘in-depth’ series of clips (<http://www.childrenofthecode.org/Tour/index.htm#indepth>). As intended, they are being used by college of education professors to provide their classes with stimulating starting points for deeper dialogue. Based on the success of these sequences, we are now beginning the process of providing full length videos of our interviews. First up, two leading neuroscientists whose work on auditory processing are critical contributions to understanding the challenges involved in learning to read:
Dr. Paula Tallal: is Board of Governor’s Chair of Neuroscience and Co-Director of the Center for Molecular and Behavioral Neuroscience at Rutgers University.
Dr. Michael Merzenich: is the Chair of Otolaryngology at the Keck Center for Integrative Neurosciences at the University of California at San Francisco and a member of the National Academy of Sciences.
