Background/Education: I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Pittsburgh and a Master’s Degree in Elementary Education with a focus on Curriculum and Instruction from Chapman University in San Diego. I also hold Teaching Credentials in both California and New York. I was a long-term substitute teacher before becoming the Director of Education at Sylvan Learning Center, where I worked for a number of years. I switched gears and worked as a legal assistant and paralegal before joining the Gemm family in 2012.

More about me: I am the proud mother of two daughters and a son, who has Autism. Some of my favorite things include the Yankees, Harry Potter and Star Wars. I lived in San Diego (because I’m a beach lover) and New York City (and a city girl) for many years before returning to Pennsylvania where I grew up.

What I want to be when I grow up: Doing anything that involves working with children and promoting health and wellness in others.

When I’m not at work: I love being with my family, running, reading, traveling, doing yoga and being active. I also cofounded a group for parents of children on the autism spectrum.
